Among complex coronary lesions, bifurcation is the most frequent. Recent trials, bench testing and new imaging modalities have recently improved our knowledge regarding the lesion analysis and the treatment strategy.
Should we treat bifurcation lesion with dedicated stents or with dedicated techniques using regular stents? Here are two examples of these different strategies in the most frequent location: the LAD-diagonal bifurcation.
